Covergirl LipPerfection Lipcolor in Everlasting 345 Review

Lip color perfection in a tube?

Covergirl LipPerfection Lipcolor in Everlasting for $5.94 (0.12 oz)
Covergirl LipPerfection Lipcolor in Everlasting for $5.94 (0.12 oz)

Covergirl LipPerfection Lipcolor in Everlasting 345, is a new Covergirl formula that was launched a while back. I can't remember when. This collection has 44 lip colors so you're sure to get something that will flatter your skin tone.

Product claim: Bright, gorgeous color that can transform your day and your lips. Enriched with a silk moisturizing complez, our formula helps sustain moisture levels and helps create soft, smooth, beautiful lips in just 7 days.

This lipstick comes in a sleek shiny tube with the exact shade of lipstick on the bottom. If anyone decides to get all 44 shades, they will have no problem picking and choosing which lip shade they will wear for the day.

The formula is very creamy and moisturizing. It glides on perfectly and is very pigmented. I would say this lipstick is like a copper burgundy color. It also has red shimmer and falls in the lilacs/mauves/burgundies categories on the Covergirl website. I love this color. Its very pretty and works well with my skintone, just as long as I keep every other feature neutral. I only had to use a few swipes to get a great color payoff.

This lipstick does not last very long, about 3-4 hours. It transferred onto my utensil during lunch and there was no color in the middle of my mouth just a ring of color like an outline. I'm glad I check the mirror right away and did not go through the day looking like that. There's really no need to fuss about reapplying when it just takes a few seconds of your time. I did not take the time to test this lipstick out for 7 days to see if I get soft, smooth and beautiful lips. Not sure how I feel about wearing the same lip color for 7 days. I like to change up my look everyday based on my mood. This formula contains shea butter, avocado oil, and coconut oil. It also has a weird playdough smell or what I like to call 'lipstick smell'. It's not unpleasant but its bearable.

Pros:
Pigmented
Easy to apply
Moisturizing

Cons:
Lipstick smell

e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Coral Review

This right here gives you the perfect nude lip.

e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Coral ($3.99) for 0.06 oz.
e.l.f. Matte Lip Color in Coral ($3.99) for 0.06 oz.

Product claims:
This convenient jumbo sized lip pencil creates exact color application with twist up ease so you never have to sharpen.
The pigment rich color glides on effortlessly and easily to provide long lasting matte color. The enriched Vitamin A, C & E formula moisturizes and hydrates lips for beautiful healthy looking lips.

The packaging is all black with the color of the lipstick at the bottom. Its very sleek and soft. The cap clicks securely when you close it. It doesn't seem like a product that will open up in your purse. When i first applied this lip pencil, the product was dry. But after a few minutes, it felt softer and moisturizing. I guess it needed some warmth from my lips. It was very easy to use and apply. Just twist up and apply.  The color is very similar to my lips and does not look like I'm wearing lip color. It did not have a bad smell.  Perfect for those who want a little something and prefer the neutral look.

Pros:
-Convenient
-Easy to apply
-Moisturizing
-inexpensive

Cons:
-Dry in the beginning

Boots No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil in Blue/Grey Review

“Accentuate and frame the eyes with this silky-smooth and easy-to-use pencil.”

The Boots No7 Amazing Eyes Pencil is a dual pencil liner with a smudge tool on the other end.  At $6.99 you get 0.03 fl oz. of products with availability in eight different colors: Aubergine, Black, Blue/Grey, Bronze, Brown, Chrome, Leaf, and Olive. You can purchase it online at Boots Website or Drugstore.com.

Product Claims:  The creamy wax and Vitamin C formula allows for a smooth application without dragging the delicate eye area.

I was not a fan of eye pencils until I got the Amazing Eyes Pencil. It’s a regular sized eye pencil. I had such a hard time removing the plastic from the pencil that I was afraid it was going to break. So, I guess that may be a good thing since there won’t be a possibility of anyone purchasing a used eye pencil. Gross.

Since I wasn’t a fan of eye pencils, I hardly used them. Not this time. The application was so smooth. I had no problems applying the product on my lid and it did not tug at my eyes at all. It was like slicing butter with a hot knife. The smudger brush was really fun to use to create a smokey effect. To be honest, this is my first time using one.

This pencil is a Blue/Grey color with subtle multicolor shimmer in it. It’s very creamy due to the Vitamin E, which gives you the ability to glide it over your eye with very little effort. It’s also hypo-allergenic which is great if you have sensitive skin and suffer from allergies. I can’t recall how long I wore it but it has long lasting power and lasts for several hours without fading or smudging. I would definitely buy this product again and would love to try it in Bronze.

Pros: Easy to apply, blendable, smooth application, long lasting, hypoallergenic, easy removal

Cons:  N/A

Ingredient List: Hydrogenated Palm Kernel Glycerides, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Capric/Caprylic Stearic Triglyceride, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, Rhus Succedanea (Fruit wax), Talc, Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Ascorbyl Palmitate (Vitamin C), May Contain (+/-): (Iron Oxides), CI 77499 (Iron Oxides)

e.l.f. Essential Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Sun Kissed Review

"Achieve a sun kissed complexion year round!"

I got the e.l.f Essential Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Sun Kissed from Target for only $1.00. So I said why not?
I'm not sure how much product you get in the compact. It also comes in 3 other shades: Warm Tan, Luminance, and Matte Brown.

Product claims: The silky smooth, fine powder formula blends evenly and easily into the skin for a lightweightfeel. Use all over body for a touch of sheer radiance. Perfect to buff into the face, arms, shoulders, legs, and decollete for a gorgeous glow.

Sun Kissed is such a pretty light golden bronze color and silky to the touch. It also has gold flecks of shimmer in it as well. This is the 2nd lightest shade. Luminance looked too light for me and can definitely be used as a highlighter. Sun Kissed gives you that natural faux glow without making you look like an oompa loompa. You don't need a lot of the bronzer on your brush since its very pigmented. You can build up the color if you need more.  I like to apply it right under the apples of my cheek, forehead, bridge of my nose, temples and chin.

Pros:
Easy to apply
Blendable
Smooth & silky
Affordable
Very Pigmented

Cons:
No brush/sponge

e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Glitter Nail Polish in Golden Goddess Review

"Accent your manicure with dazzling glitter nail polish."
- e.l.f cosmetics

e.l.f. Cosmetics Essential Glitter Nail Polish in Golden Goddess is a gold micro glitter combined with large silver holographic hexagon glitter.

You can use this polish alone or as an accent over your favorite color. If you cannot wear flashy nail polish at work, this looks perfect alone as the glitter is subtle and not too wild.

Golden Goddess dries to a matte finish. You can go with one coat just fine. I like to use 3 coats or more. For this polish, I only went up to 2 coats because I couldn't stand the smell. Not sure if I'll be purchasing this polish again because of that.

You can purchase this polish at e.l.f cosmetics website - $2.00 for 0.34 fl oz and it comes in six different shades.
I like that this nail polish formula is free of Toulene, Formaldehyde, and Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP).  Although the label says new formula, I hope that they revamp the formula because the smell is very unpleasant.

Pros:
Easy to apply
Dries fast
great value
3 Free

Cons:
Bad Smell

e.l.f. Cosmetics Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black Review

I was never good at creating a winged liner until I tried e.l.f. Cosmetics Studio Cream Eyeliner. Nothing worked for me. Not a liquid, pen, or pencil eyeliner would give me the signature Adele winged liner that I have been dying to wear.

Then my prayers were answered when I came across e.l.f. Cosmetics Studio Cream Eyeliner at Target. This little piece of eyeliner heaven was everything that I was looking for.

Easy to apply
Long lasting
Glides on smoothly
Smudge proof
+ it came with a brush

From e.l.f.'s website: The cream formula creates smooth lines that are defined and precise. Smudge-proof, budge-proof and water-resistant coverage for all day wear to combat against sweat, tears or rain! Achieve thin or bold lines with ease. Slanted Eyeliner Brush included.

For only $3.00 you get 0.01 oz of product. It also comes in 11 different colors. I tested the eyeliner for 14 hours. And it lasted all 14 hours through my full-time job, being a mom and a Zumba session. My eyeliner was still intact at midnight. No primer needed. I was able to easily remove it with Clean and Clear Soothing Eye Makeup Remover and a cottonball.

I would definitely buy this product again and would love to try it in some of the other colors. Gunmetal, Punk Purple, and Midnight seem like some fun colors to try.

L'Oreal Color Caresse by Color Riche in Pink Cashmere (171) Review

A Lipstick with the feel of a lip butter...

L'Oreal Color Caresse by Color Riche in Pink Cashmere is the perfect pink. Barbie pink to be exact. The packaging is sleek gold with the color of the lipstick around the cap. I love how this lipstick looks expensive but it's actually very affordable. If you're in need of a mirror, you can use the cap but its sorta blurry.

This formula has a faint sweet scent. It's very light and glides on your lips smoothly like butter. The disappointing part is that it doesnt last very long. I would say about less than an hour.

You can purchase this shade and 15 others from L'Oreal, Ulta, Drugstore.com, or CVS for only $9.99.
I would definitely purchase this lipstick again, maybe in red. I don't mind having to reapply my lipstick.

Have you tried this lipstick yet?

Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen in Brun Beam Review

Not exactly a pen, I would actually call this a crayon. The Pixi Lid Last Shadow Pen is a creamy eyeshadow built to last.

Featured in 7 different shades, this chubby crayon glides color on the lid very smoothly. It's also very easy to use and I didnt even have to use a brush.  I just blended the formula on my lid with my ring finger, added some mascara and I was good to go.

This shadow is so great and can be used in many different ways. It can be used as an all over lid eyeshadow, to line your eyes, and even as a highlighter depending on which shade you get.

Containing Vitamin E, this eyeshadow nourishes and protects your skin and it has peptides, which plumps any fine lines that you might have.

Beam Brum is described by Pixi as a cool brown. I agree, although I did see some bronze shimmer in the formula.

The only downside that I see in this product is that it comes incased in plastic. When you need to sharpen it, you'll lose some of the product. I recommend melting the product into a small jar so that you get every gram.

For $18.00 you get 0.16 oz of color of product. I would definitely purchase this product again. I'm liking Bronze Brillance, Gilded
  Mink and Graphite Glint.

You can purchase Pixi products on their website, or Target.

Have you tried Pixi?
