MAC and Nicki Minaj have collaborated once again to bring you a new Viva Glam Lipstick called Lavendar Is The New Pink, and this time there will be a lipglass. I loved her Viva Glam Nicki lipstick; check out my post here. No word on the pricing yet. The Viva Glam Nicki lipstick is $15. 00 so, it'll probably be at that same price. Lavender Is The New Pink is scheduled to launch February 2013. I've never worn a lavender lipstick before. I can't wait to see swatches and reviews. I think I may purchase it just to support the MAC AIDS Fund.

Marilyn Monroe for Mac Cosmetics

I just came across this article on the Huffington Post about Mac Cosmetics coming out with a Marilyn Monroe inspired line. I love Marilyn and cannot believe it's been 50 years.  I am definitely purchasing a product or two from this line and wish I could purchase the whole thing!

Review: Mac Cosmetics Viva Glam Nicki Lipstick

In honor of my birthday, I purchased a few things from Sephora that I've been wanting to buy including this lipstick. I'm kinda bummed that I did not purchase the Lady Gaga edition. I really WANT that lipstick. This is also the first MAC product that I purchased. I'm glad that this is my first purchase from MAC since it goes to their MAC AIDS Fund’s Viva Glam program.When I got the lipstick and opened the box, I was kinda surprised, it looked too small to be a normal sized lipstick. I guess it's because of the shape of the cap. I fell in love with the color which some people have said its 'The Perfect Pink'. This is a satin lipstick. Satin lipsticks have emollients that make it rich, creamy, non-drying and long-lasting. I love pink lipstick or gloss. I think it's a universally flattering color for any skin tone. I've gotten so many compliments from this lipstick. I feel that it really fits my personality.I'm really happy with this lipstick. I may end up buying some more Viva Glam lipsticks in the future.

I feel that these pictures do not do the lipstick any justice. It's something that you'll have to see in person.
