Merlin's Apprentice Jewelry & Design Review and Giveaway

A couple of days ago, I received two items for review. A stamped bracelet and a Scented Microwavable Flannel Heating Pad. When I opened my package, I could immediately smell the lavender scent from the heating pad.It smelled so warm and relaxing. I also fell in love with the stamped bracelet. It's pretty, simple and it contained an encouraging message: Don't Tell Me I Can't.

The stamped bracelet came in a white gift box which is perfect since you don't have to go out to buy a gift bag or a jewelry box. The bracelet fit my wrist well considering that I'm a big girl :). I love it. I've always wanted to create stamped jewelry. You can easily stack this with more bangles or other bracelets to create an arm party. Only $18.95, this is a perfect gift for someone into DIY or someone trying to completed a huge life goal. This will definitely show some encouragement and power. I wore it to a Thanksgiving dinner and received many compliments. This handmade bracelet can also be personalized. Since its made by hand, each one is unique.
You can purchase this gorgeous bracelet from jhammerberg on Etsy or Merlin's Apprentice on luulla

I've never used a heating pad like this one before. I've always bought those things from Walgreens for menstrual cramps. The pad is a little heavy due to being filled with rice. I love that it came infused with essential oils. You can choose from Lavendar, Pine Forest, Lilac or Chamomile. It all just sounds so warm and cozy. It also came with instuctions on how to use it.

To use warm it up in the microwave for a minute for the first time. Test the warmth, and add another if you need it. You do not want to overheat the pad because that will cause it to have a burnt smell which will be unpleasant if you need to use it on your neck.

It also doubles as a cold pack. You can throw it in the freezer for about an hour or so. The rice will get warm after being on your body due to your body heat. Any other cold pack will stay cold. Merlin's Apprentice suggests to buy two; when one gets warm, grab the second from the freezer and put the first one back.

I mainly get lower back pain because I have bad posture. This pad felt so amazing on my back, that I took a nap. I wish that it had a more chic design since the flannel looks like a little girl's blanket. It's not machine washable but I would recommend using a damp cloth to clean it if you have to. This makes a great gift and anyone in the family can use it. Only $12.50 from jhammerberg on Etsy or Merlin's Apprentice on luulla.
