Coral Smokey Eyes Tutorial

Smokey eyes is a trend which never goes out of fashion, so here’s an easy way to do any smokey eyes. We demonstrate how to do coral smokey eye make up and you may use this method for any color.

Products needed:
  • Black eye shadow (optional)
  • Black kohl
  • Coral eye shadow
  • Mascara
  • Highlighting shade
  • False lashes(optional)

 Step 1
Conceal and prime your eyes before you start. Concealing the under eye area will help to hide the dark circles and other flaws. While priming will help make the shadow stay longer. For oily eyelids primer is a must.

 Step 2

Apply the black kohl pencil all over the lids upto the crease. Do not fear if it is uneven, we will smoothen it out. You may also use a black eye shadow on top of it to  make it stay longer.

Step 3
Now take the coral eye shadow and apply it in the inner corner of the eyes. Apply it with a pencil brush for more precision.

Step 4
Now blend the coral and the black together using wiping motions. Also blend in the crease and if you want create an edge with the black eye shadow. If you have un-even edges, then take a q-tip and a piece of paper. Now hold the paper over the eyes in the desired angle and use the q-tip (dipped in makeup remover) to clean the edge. This trick will create a sharp edge. If you want to soften the look, use a blending brush to blend the edges and leave no harsh lines.
Take the black shadow on a crease brush and apply it to the crease.

Step 5
Take a bit of the highlighter shade on a fluffy blending brush and apply the highlighter shade again under the brow bone. You can skip this part if you feel you have enough shade already.

Step 6
Line the waterline with black kohl and curl your lashes for a dramatic look. You can also add false lashes if you please. Add the false lashes and curl them together with the real lashes for a more defined look. Also clean the fall outs to finish the look. Using the same brush that you used to apply the coral shadow, swipe it under the lower lashline for just a hint of coral under the eyes.
