Ombre Glitter

I finally made an attempt at this new nail art craze - Ombre Glitter Nails. The great thing about this trend is that you can more glitter at the tips or at the nail cuticle. Both look really pretty. Some have used real glitter, I chose to use Essie Luxe Effects in Set In Stones which has different sized glitter over Color Club's Insta-This, which a really rich cobalt blue. FYI: This task can be a little tedious, but it will all be worth it in the end. These are the steps, I took to achieve this look:

1. Remove any old nail polish with remover.
2. Washed my hands.
3. Applied Orly Top 2 Bottom Basecoat and Topcoat All-in-one to all my nails and let them dry. 
4. Applied 1 thin layer of Color Club Insta-This on all nails and let dry. 
5. Applied Essie Luxe Effects Set In Stones All over nails and let dry.
6. Applied Essie Luxe Effects Set In Stones from the middle half down to the tips and let dry. 
7. Applied Essie Luxe Effects Set In Stones on the tips and let dry.
8. Repeat. Let nails dry. 
9. I reapplied Orly Top 2 Bottom Basecoat and Topcoat All-in-one to all my nails and let them dry. 

This is how they came out. A winter wonderland!
