This lip shine comes with a doe foot applicator. The packaging is very simple. The handle is black and the tube is clear plastic. The consistency is thicker than other lip glosses that I'm used to. And it did not have a great smell either. It smelled like lipstick from the 90's.
I really liked the way it looked when I first applied it. It went on smoothly without any problems, only it had a thicker feel. This formula is not long lasting, its sticky and a pain to remove. It lasted less than 4 hours. I had problems with it feathering, sticking on to my food and utensils, and smearing around my mouth. I do not want to eat lip gloss. I want it to stay on my lips. I probably could've bought a lip primer or lip liner to test it out, but those are things that I do not normally use.
I'm so glad, that I went with my gut and did not buy another one of these lip shines. I had high hopes for this product and ended up being disappointed. I, also think its weird that Sinful Colors does not have any information about this product on their website.
This picture was taken with my phone and shows how my lips looked after having the product on for less than 4 hours. There was no eating or drinking involved. The only thing done was talking.
Have you tried any of their lip shines? What do you think?
xo, Sabrina
